Re: DNN Blog 03.05.00 Released!
This version addresses many issue fixes, but most important gives the module an incredible move ahead in usability and functionality. It is a great step to put the module up to date against competitor products.

How exciting to see this out in the wild. Of course, that means that now it's time to start work on 4.0, which should be a lot of fun.

Re: DNN Blog 03.05.00 Released!
And if you're new to the world of blogging, here's a post I wrote a while back in response to a conversation I had with a friend who was thinking of starting a blog. www.itcrossing.com/blog/entryid/19/on-blogging-why-and-what-types
My advice? Write a quick Hello World post, then send me a link and I'll write the first comment welcoming you to the blogosphere.

Re: DNN Blog 03.05.00 Released!
I am impressed. The modlue is looking really great and I want to express my gratitude for your efforts. I posted an article to a blog using Word 2007 and it was way more slick than you can imagine. I am tempted to use the blog module in place of the Text/HTML module. Gravitars, SEO Friendly, Color coded comments, the list goes on.

Re: DNN Blog 03.05.00 Released!
Is not possible to change module settings that it will be visible only for registered users (view_blog)? When I try to changed permissions I receive following error: A critical error has occurred. Value cannot be null. Parameter name: replacement

Re: DNN Blog 03.05.00 Released!
The Comment's Re:xxxxx still extends the whole page based on the length of the title. It changes the appearance. The width="99%" in asp:textbox might be manipulated in ViewEntry.ascx in the blog folder. Does any one knows how to fix it without referring to the source code?

Re: DNN Blog 03.05.00 Released!
I'm playing around with the Allow Upload Options feature. It's great that we can give bloggers the ability to upload images to include in their posts, but it appears as though you can only have them displayed at the bottom of the post. Is there anyway to reference those images that were uploaded in-line with the blog content? Many of my bloggers prefer to have images strewn throughout their blog as they speak about a particular topic and need a visual aid to complement their textual descriptions.

Re: DNN Blog 03.05.00 Released!
Nevermind... I figured out how to do it. I didn't realize it actually placed the image at the bottome of the text in the Rich Text Editor. Thanks.
