Christmas 2009 - I am just sitting at my father’s desk, looking at the picturesque landscape of the Teutoburg Forest in Winter (see picture below) and am reflecting about the year, which (nearly) has passed: Besides my ongoing contribution to the DotNetNuke Core Team and Extension Release Testing, a number of new activities have been started to benefit the DotNetNuke community. One of my main focuses was on setting up the European Network of DotNetNuke Professionals (www.dnn-europe.net) where we had already two meetings in 2009 with substantial discussions on localization, ecommerce, marketing and collaboration. One of the results will be a European DotNetNuke Event on May, 28th in Paris at the Microsoft Convention Center – details will follow!

Another recent activity produced a first result today as a gift to the DotNetNuke community: Our Advanced Control Panel is a first result of a joint effort from Oliver Hine and me, trying to improve administration and usability of DotNetNuke – give it a try!
We are already working on further enhancements for future releases in 2010.
As you can see – 2010 shall become an exciting year as well - for now, I’d like to thank all the core team and community members for their contribution and dedication, we benefited from.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Re: Annual Reflection...
As we just noticed, the Control Panel download package had been corrupted, which is fixed now. We apologize for any inconvenience. Jaydeep, the feature sets of DotNetNuke packages are decided by DotNetNuke Corp.

Re: Annual Reflection...
It is entirely great to know about the different types of annual reflection from your post. It is very great to find the absolute information for others. It is a great news for the people to know about the different types of future versions easily.

What I think would make a nice Control Panel
I tried out your new control panel and I like it, nice work. It is nice to see some enhancements in this area, so I took some time today to mock-up what I think would be a nice Control Panel for DNN: Have a look if your are interested and thanks for your contributions.
