Getting userId in Member Directory

Hi

Would anyone happen to know how I can expose the userId of the user being displayed on the profile card? I have tried the following just to see if it works

data-bind="attr: { title: userId}

my goal is not to use the userId as the title but this way I can see if it works

This does not return any results.

Thanks for the help

you're were almost right. For security purposes we dont return full user details (i.e. userinfo), instead we have a smaller object with a few fields that are safe to return (e.g. we dont pass the username, when they last loggd in etc.) - in this field userid is known as MemberId so you use that in your binding instead

  • Thanks but in testing, using data-bind="attr: { title: MemberId} causes the template to fail. Any suggestions? - Mark Hollas 8/10/2012
