How to upload my skin files: Wont allow me to upload main.html

Hello

I am trying to create and upload my own skin. I have successfully created my own skin files but I am unable to upload my main.html file to my skins folder because the DNN File Manager doesn't allow me to upload .html files.

How do you usually upload your skins files or make your own skins?

I have all my files ready to go: skin.xml, skin.css, main.html, NoMap.doctype.xml, main.doctype.xml. I am trying to upload my skin files to Site Root\Skins\MySkinFolder\. I dont want to use the Skin Designer Module to create my new skin because it will take hours to put in each token value one by one.

Is it common for web hosts/DNN not to allow uploading of .html files through the DNN File Manager? Do you have any advice on what I can do?

usually you zip all files using the name of your skin as zip name and upload in Host > Extensions. the installer will ask you, whether this is a legacy skin package to install
