pop-up problem on upgrade from 6.1.4 to 6.1.5

After I upgrated from 6.1.4 to 6.1.5 the popup windows won't close on their own.

For example in the login window if I login and press the login button the popup blinks but does not close or re-post.  If I exit the popup by clicking the X then the window closes and it does a re-post and completes the login.

This occurs on all popup windows.

Happens in IE9, Chrome and Firefox

I figured out the issue.  Check your settings for "Page State Persistence" in Host > Host Settings. Setting it to "Memory" will cause this issue.  Switching it back to "Page" should correct the issue.  I would guess this is an AJAX related bug.

Have you ensured that your pop-up blocker is set to always trust the site?  Not just 1x?  I could see a pop-up blocker (especially the one baked into IE) posing issues with a post back if the URL that it is re-writing is different from the original (as often it is because once you click for example the 'Return' button after a module installation the default action is to return the user to the main page and close the pop-up.).  I'm not sure if that will answer your question as I have not experienced this myself.  However, I mention it because I have all of my pop-up blockers turned off completely for any site I'm working inside of.

Thanks!

Make it a great Day!

I am having this same issue and would love to know the resolution.  I have most recently experienced it in DNN 6.1.3.  It does not seem to be browser caching issue.
