    $500 DNN "Standard" Edition

How about a less expensive option for Pro features. An edition that offers most of the functionality of pro, minus the support, advanced cacheing and web farm support...

We are not considering creating a lower priced commercial offer at this time. We believe that creating an offer at this price point would complicate the commercial offers and provide more competition with the community edition which ultimately would not benefit the community.

Make Workflow a part of the core

The workflow features in the HTML module are great but it would be much better if this feature could be part of DNN Core so modules could take advantage of it and provide a more integrated scenario accross all modules in DNN...

We are reviewing the scope of this feature for inclusion in the next major release after 7.1. We will need to finalize the actual requirements of the feature to be implemented before we can move forward.

    Create backup

Please add an option to create a backup of a site (preferably on a portal level) with the option to restore it in place or download the backup and restore it somewhere else.

It is a little unclear what type of backup/restore is wanted and whether that belongs in the core. Backing up a single site would be technically possible, but doing an in place restore would be extremely problematic since much of the data for a single site is actually data that is shared across the entire installation. It would help to have a more complete description of the feature requirements.

We are currently reviewing this feature. This might be a feature that is best left to the community to provide an open source or commercial option.

    Central support for templates

Can we have a central handling of templates? A general way of handling html type templating. Including an XML /HTML validation option in the editor/template window? With import/export facilities? And multi language?
