Entries for this category must create a new design using only 1 CSS file, 1 JavaScript file and an images folder. All contestants will be given the same HTML page based on a DotNetNuke installation. A style switcher, built by the contest team, will cycle through the entries to ensure everyone has the exact same code base. A sample package will be provided to aid contestants in the design process.
The idea is to showcase design skills and the design potential of the DotNetNuke platform. This also allows those who are unfamiliar with DotNetNuke skinning to participate.

The mobile category challenges your design and technical skills in building a skin that targets smart phone devices. Design should be carefully thought out to provide the best user experience for small screen. Technically the skin must include common best practices, such as table-less layout approach, compliance with modern web standards and mobile specific design techniques.
It is recommended to do testing on various browsers, OS, and devices (aim at targeting most modern and commonly used ones).
This category focuses on building professional DotNetNuke design and skin for business or personal use. You are free to be creative in terms of design and implementation. All submissions will be reviewed by by the judges for creativity, technical implementation as well as practical aspects.
