This version of the module was designed for DotNetNuke 6.0 or later and is written in c#. This release also includes the extension library package DCL (DotNetNuke Content Library, also written by me, http://dnncontentlibrary.codeplex.com/) which permits the commenting addition. Release Highlights:
  • Integrated with Content Items.
  • Added new detail view, there is a module setting 'view mode' to change from the default behavior to enable it.
  • Simplified Module Settings (removed some, grouped, etc.).
  • Added commenting.
  • Added AddThis social sharing.
  • Replaced image buttons with properly localized (and styled) text versions.
  • Enhanced voting and download buttons to display (no longer disabled) but to redirect to login (with proper return URL) if not authenticated (and necessary).
  • Added friendly messaging for end users for voting & commenting.
  • Made voting and commenting utilize Ajax to avoid full page postback.
  • Changed description textbox to HTML provider (in edit entry).
  • Added a 'view results' page. Content editors can now view results of the contest using this view.
