Re: Missing create module package link after install

Hi All,

usually if the "Create Module Package" link doesn't appear it is because the folder field in module's definition doesn't match the real folder under DesktopModules where the files are placed.

That has always been my experience.  That is why I was hoping Michael would have replied to my questions.  :(

Re: Missing create module package link after install

I'm experiencing the same problem... I installed DNN for the first time to try it, wanted to change skin and insert modules but the links keep hidding :-(

I even tried copying the new modules to Desktop Modules directory and adding a XML line with the new module beside the other controls, but no results. How can I solve this problem?

Re: Missing create module package link after install

Well, according to what I understand about this is that the Create Module Installer package link will be hidden under (so far) two conditions:

  1. If you are not running under "localhost"
  2. If your module folder name is not matching the folder name in your manifest file (xml)
