Problem about Setting up Permissions

I created following users:

registered01

moderator01  member of moderators security group  via Admin > Security Roles

forumadmin01 assigned as forum admin via Module Settings

forumadmin02 member of Forum Admins Security role via Admin > Security Roles

In module settings i have following permissions:

All users > View

forumadmin01 >  View and Forum Admin

In Forum module Administration area i have following forums and permissions

Forum1 >

Forum Type: Normal

Behaviour: Public Moderated w/ Post Restrictions

Administrators User Group, Start Thread, Reply, Moderators, add attachment, Pin thread, Lock thread and No Moderation

This is for to test the module with portal admin account.

TEST RESULTS > Logged in as portal admin and my posts are not being automatically approved even i have assigned No Moderation permission.

Forum 2 > Normal, Private Moderated w/ Post Restrictions

Registered Users: View, Start, Reply

Administrators: View, Start, Reply, Moderators and No Moderation.

TEST Results: All users can post, their messages being moderated even they have no moderation role assigned. Also tested with forumadmin01 account and same result.

I also don't understand moderators and no moderation permissions. I believe moderators give permission to that role to moderate posts at that forum.

Do i need to specifiy both permission if you want to make a user only moderator for that group?

I also have problem about MODERATION here at DNN Forums,

I'm marked as Trusted user but after i post a message, forum says my post will be moderated, but it automatically published. If so, why i am receiving that message?

I subscribe to my own threads but i never get email notifications if someone replies to it.

I read the documentation (especially permission settings twice) and i must be missing some step.

Whatever i specify in permissions all posts are sent to moderation queue.

Please advice.

Regards,

ID

Re: Problem about Setting up Permissions

Please read the documentation available, I can't explain it any better here than I do in the document.

Re: Problem about Setting up Permissions

You found Project documentations on the Forge in each project download page.  The Forum Project downloadpage is on http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/Forge/ModuleForums/Downloads/tabid/823/Default.aspx

Re: Problem about Setting up Permissions

So you think, nothing is wrong with module itself?

As a trusted user, my posts are published automatically, however after i send a message i see a moderation message at these forums too.
