Compiling sources using VS2008

Hi all,

I've downloaded DotNetNuke_04.08.04_Source.zip but I can't compile it using Visual Studio 2008. I get loads of errors, from missing import statements to obsolete uses of Null.

Where can I find the environment/information you guys use to compile the whole solution? Is it really a VB solution?

Best regards,

mjda

Re: Compiling sources using VS2008

Hey Zex,

You should be able to open the DotNetNuke_VS2008.sln file in Visual Studio 2008 and compile right out of the box. If you are getting build errors - have you checked the project references in the various projects to see if any of the references are invalid? You may be able to simply add a reference path to fix that. And to answer your last question - yes, it is all written in VB.

Take care,

Ian
