How soon can we hope for fixes that take care of minor bugs? ie. several reports of install errors that we can apparently "ignore" has made me a little bit nervous about 5.1

Still, I am excited to start using it in production........

I've read some of the bad experiences... but would be reassured to hear many of the good experiences with 5.1!

let the core team have time enough to make a good release of dotnetnuke the 5.1.1 ..... the 5.1.0 was just released so wait atleast one more week ..... as you are planning to use the DNN 5.1 in production I assume you have used it in evaluation. Have you cloned your production site and made a trial upgrade yet? have you reported any findings to support.dotnetnuke.com ?

please note, that core versions are developed and released by DotNetNuke Corporation, not the core team. DotNetNuke Corp is also responsible for the web site.
