automatic user homepage creation 

Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to automatically create a homepage for a user when they register. I'm trying to create an application where users register and then get their own page with blog, gallery etc.

I've searched the documentation and forums but couldn't find anything helpful, any pointers would be much appreciated.
