Facing some problems after upgrading to 4.8.4

Hi All,

We had our site with 4.5.0 dnn version previously & we have upgraded the site to dnn 4.8.4 version.  After upgrading the site to 4.8.4, whenever we uninstall & re-install any modules in site then we get upgrade message like below . Also whenever we perform any file upload/file delete operation then also we get the same upgrade message as below:

Upgrading DotNetNuke
Current Assembly Version: 04.08.04
Current Database Version: 04.08.02

Upgrade Status Report
00:00:00.031 - Upgrading to Version: 4.8.4
00:00:00.046 - Performing General Upgrades
Upgrade Complete

After looking at the problem we found that the version table is having last record entry of version 4.8.2 & due to that we are getting the upgrade message everytime. If we manually insert two records in the version table for version 4.8.3 & for version 4.8.4 then we are not getting the upgrade message but the site becomes very slow & we get error while performing any file upload operation & after that the site gives request time out error everytime.

Can anyone please help us to solve the problem?

Regards,

Kusum

Re: Facing some problems after upgrading to 4.8.4

there seem to be issues writing to your portal directory, please check the permissions and make sure, the database user can write to the versions table as well.
