Did you solve your problem? 

The file is located in the Store source - rename DNN_Store_Source.resources to DNN_Store_Source.resources.zip and you will find it.

Michael,

Any thoughts on compounding the Vista installation issues with VS2008?  Just to keep it interesting, how about the worst case scenario: Vista x64 (which happens to be my scenario).  I'm running through the installation now but I'm expecting a lot of uninstalls...

There's no functional difference between Vista x86 and x64 (32 bit and 64 bit).  The code is identical and the functions are identical, all were developed at the same time.  XP x64 was developed three years after XP and had IIS 6 instead of IIS 5.1, since the code for Server 2003 was incorporated.

I'm not using VS2008 but the install of 4.8.0 went silky smooth.

Now, I've got a question for some of the SQL experts-
What are the ramifications of allowing the Network Service to log in to SQL2005 express through Windows Authentication and giving it dbcreator priveledge?
I ask because that's what I've done- my setup was basically following the guide from the link at the first post of this thread with the exception I've just mentioned.
Doing so gave me no problems on install of DNN to the extent that I didn't even have to edit the web.config file.

Any thoughts on security with this?

Sorry for tagging onto myself, but is anyone using the install version of 4.8.0 having problems with some modules not installing properly?
In particular, News Feeds (RSS) and XML/XSL not offering the options in their settings for setting the RSS URL.
