Newbie question : need to develop different web sites on a single machine

Hello DNN users.

On a single local machine (VS2005, SQL2005, DNN4, IIS5.1), I need to develop several web sites which will be hosted at different providers.

I have installed the Install Pack on c:\dotnetnuke, seen as a virtual server by my local IIS.

How do I start a new web site from scratch ? And is it possible to start more than one ? If yes, how ?

Thanks for all answers.

You may install several DNN code bases using the same/different DB's. Just pay attention to your IIS configuration: locally it must be an independent virtual directory and your solution files must be changed accordingly.

This has to be the most common question asked by advanced users "how do I setup multiple sites", and the answer doesn't lie in DNN, but in "multiple DNNs".  FAQ item perhaps? Thanks hool.
