Re: HELP!!!!!

In your "\bin" folder of your site, you can check the Dotnetnuke.dll properties to get the version.

If it's a remote server, you can FTP the file locally and check from there.

The "Host Settings" screen also says the version, but that was not the case with all versions of DNN.  There are probably some other methods for checking as well, but those are the 2 I use before working on a clients' site.

Re: HELP!!!!!

If you started an update then all of the ways to find your version might tell you the old version number, or the new version number - it depends on how far the install got and what happened.

If you post the actual error message, then you are more likely to get the answer required.  If an upgrade failed - then restore your backup and start again, do not attempt to fix it.

JK.

Re: HELP!!!!!

Ok. I have the server local so i will check this out as soon as possible. I was actually trying to do the upgrade in a test environment. I had copied all of the site files to another folder. Created a new virtual server, assigned static ip, then tried to run thru the whole upgrade process. But i was getting some sql errors. Will post those when i get in to the office. I dont have remote access to the machine i was working from

Then tell us what the problems are.  Don't scream for help and ask a question that won't directly solve your problems.  Simple fix:  Restore from the backup you made before upgrading.
