Error: Schedule is currently unavailable

For some reason the Schedule stop working.
- Cache is not refreshed.
- Locked users are not unlocked.
- New text and document are not shown.
- Users are not logged off.

DNN version 4.5.5
.NET 2.0.50727.1433

Every time I try to access the Schedule for the host the error below is shown.

Error: Schedule is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Timeout expired. Re: Error: Schedule is currently unavailable

It would appear that there is a problem with your database or database server.  Can you restart them?

It may also be that you've got a very large database and that the event log and/or site log tables need to be truncated.  You can do that if you have access to the database, either with SQL Server Management Studio or through the SQL tool on the host menu.  I suspect that the SQL tool might not work either, though.

Re: Error: Schedule is currently unavailable

Truncated both eventlog (4000 rows) and sitelog (300.000 rows)
Restarted the database server.

Disabled the scheduler in the host Portal Administration hoping to gain access to the scheduler.

Database is only 300 megabyte

Problem still the same

Re: Error: Schedule is currently unavailable

Problem solved at last.
Did a Truncate Table on ScheduleHistory - that gave access to the Scheduler.
