Re: A critical error has occurred - error

Can you login from any other page?  Do you see any other pages?  The message would be more complete if you were logged in, so it looks like we are in a catch 22.  Do you remember what the last change was that you made to the site?

Re: A critical error has occurred - error

hi will,

i cannot login what so ever. my latest change was just modifiying hte actual pixel count of the poll (as i was playing with width). but its a clean site with no modules loaded (installed, but not used)

do i need to start from scratch?

and no, there is no other page i can use to login as i have not created any as of yet

cheers

More information is needed. What happens when you try to login? Do you get an error? Does the Login skinobject not show up anymore?

EDIT: I just saw your original post (one of the joys when moderating is that we can't see the whole thread). Have you tried reversing what you did when you were trying to adjust the pixels?

Re: A critical error has occurred - error

hi mike,

if you just go to the root (w/out login) dev1.shoebliss.com.au you will not see the error. when you do click on the login button, the error shows up at the top in red without ability to login as it just keeps on redirecting to the error. hard to explain, just try to login via URL i just provided.

as for trying to fix what i did wrong (poll sizing), i cant even login to fix it. im doubtul it was the poll variable that screwed the site somehow. but i guess nothing is left to chance

the error only shows up if you try to login. however, please note that there is nothing on the site. only the default pages are their as i have not to "create" new pages. i only added the poll mod just to see how easy it was to create (which, was easy!).

cheers
