Install error "The code subdirectory /App_Code/HTML/' does not exist."
Modified By ClydeS on 9/11/2008 3:18:23 PM)

I don't know what fixed it but I am well past this problem now.

I downloaded and unzipped the DotNetNuke_04.08.04_Source.zip file, created the database, modified the web.config, and set up the iis instance.

I have installed and am successfully running 2 sites on servers and I am now trying to set up a local environment so I can develop some custom modules.

Server Error in '/DNNModuleDev' Application.

Sorry the original post did not show the code in the web.config where the error occurred and it is as follows.

Line 112:
Line 113:

Thanks much,

Re: Install error "The code subdirectory /App_Code/HTML/' does not exist."

I don't know what is happening to the actual code so I will hand enter it this time.

Line 110:

Line 111:           codeSubDirectories

Line 112:                add directoryName="HTML"

Line 113:                add directoryName="IFrame"

Line 114:           codeSubDirectories

I left the markup characters out this time to see if it would send the code this time.

Hopefully the code will appear this time.  I even used the Preview button below and the post looked fine.
