DNN Core Newsletter: missing graphics

The graphics in our HTML newsletters are getting 'lost in translation'. The formatting appears to the be fine, but the graphics aren't. We are running DNN 4.8 but the problem existed in the last version as well.

Does anyone know what may be going on? All ideas gratefully welcomed!

Re: DNN Core Newsletter: missing graphics

Are they not showing up because the paths to the images in the email are relative instead of the full path to the image on the website?

Re: DNN Core Newsletter: missing graphics

As chris mentioned, you will want to be 100% sure that in the Source view all of your URL's to content are FULL urls including the http://.  By default the FCK editor adds relative URL's in the form of /portals/id/path where id is your portalid and the path is the remaining path to your images.  This will NOT work for public distribution, you must have the full domain prefixed to the path.

Re: DNN Core Newsletter: missing graphics

How simple was that? I'm not even a developer and the problem is solved. Thanks a million to you both. This ridiculously simple fix was really helpful.
