Admin / Host Pages No Longer Load Following Upgrade

Upgrade from 4.8.4 to 4.9. Following upgrade host & admin pages will no longer load (page not displayed) in the exception of the "What's New" page. I do not recieve any errors visually.  The upgrade did not return any errors during installation. How would one go about trouble shooting this? Should I just rerun the upgrade?

I've already cleared my i.e. cache.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for your replies in advance!

Re: Admin / Host Pages No Longer Load Following Upgrade

If you have multiple portals, you'll find that this probably is true only for Portal 0. If that is the case, you should be able to login as host on another portal.  Then, go to Host Settings and uncheck the box that enables SSL.

If you have only one portal, you'll need to go into the Tabs table and set IsSecure to false for all of the pages.

A third option would be to restore your previous version, uncheck the box in Host Settings and do the upgrade again.

-----------

My understanding is that this happened because you had SSL Enabled checked in Host Settings when you did the upgrade, even though you're not using SSL.  Version 4.9.0 believes you and sets the host and admin pages to be secure.

Re: Admin / Host Pages No Longer Load Following Upgrade

After further review It was only the Admin / Host pages for portal 3. Logged in to Portal 0 as host and unchecked "enable SSL" box for Portal 3. Everything is working as it should now! Thanks Joe!

Re: Admin / Host Pages No Longer Load Following Upgrade

Thank you very much for this post.  I was also unable to access my admin/host pages after my 4.9 upgrade.  I only had 1 portal so I had to go into the database and adjust the IsSecure data to false.
