Can we have both DNN 3.0.13 and DNN 3.2.2 in same webserver

Hi ,

I have developed four websites in two machines i used DNN 3.0.13 for first two websites (1 parent portal ,

1 Child portal ).in machine1 .for last two websites i used DNN 3.2.2 (1 parent portal , 1 Child portal) in machine 2.

Now i need to deploy my all websites in Webserver

.shall i install both DNN 3.0.13 and 3.2.2 in the same webserver with different Virtual directory ?

Yes you can do that - I run dnn 1, 2 & 3 sites on a single server..

Can I suggest, if you have no custom modules you have written for 3.013, that you at least upgrade to 3.1.1 - it has over 100 bug fixes and may perform better.

I recently upgraded a dnn 3.013 site to dnn 3.2.2 without any problems - it was a standard install, and I backed up, upgraded to 3.1.1, backed up and upgraded to 3.2.2 and the site went well.

But the answer is Yes you may deploy multiple instances of dnn on one server.

Yes but I just read where this was posted - it's not using the installer method - I don't use that - but I do have several instances running - I'd have 4 running as well but I have a permission problem which needs manual tweaking of the registry file (running win2k server)

So is that going to affect you?

This is my exact Requirment on the webserver ....i need to setup two websites in my webserver ..one website developed in DNN 3.0.13 and another one is 3.2.2 ..

How can i achive this ?

I need to install both version of DNN in my webserver then copy my modules ?

and also in later stage i need to upgrade DNN 3.0.13 to 3.2.2 ..

i don't get you on registry file manual tweaking ..my webserver OS is windows 2003
