You know you if you are installing without any coding you can use the install.zip file, rather than the source.zip file. That's what I use - and it's substantially smaller. I think it's under 5 mb isn't it?
What you can do is
- upload the modules to the install/modules folder -
- Remoe the dnn.config file from the /install/ folder
- Ask your host to drop the database and recreate another one
- Delete the Portals/0 folder (although that does appear to be recreated anyway I think)
I can't think of anything else, maybe someone else can - I suppose you could delete the modules in the desktopmodules folder - but you might not need to do that but you would need to put the modules in the install/modules folder to fire the installation scripts.
The main thing would be re remove dnn.config file, drop the db and to make sure you had the modules installed again- you would need to put them back into the folder I mentioned.
