DNN 4.4.0: Where Did All The Modules Go?
In DotNetNuke 4.4.0, not all of the modules are installed by default.  This is done to make DNN load faster.  You will need to install the modules individually.  Here's how you do that.

1)  Log into your site as HOST and then select the menu item Host > Module Definitions

2)  On the Module Definitions page, down at the bottom, there is a list of Available Modules.  Select the modules that you want to install click Install Selected Modules.

Re: DNN 4.4.0: Where Did All The Modules Go?
Thanks for the tip regarding the modules. Do you have any additional background on where the other modules from the previous release went? Specificallly the Feedback module and Shopping Cart. I guess I could upload and install them, but I am concerned about the integrity as there could be a reason they are not in the optional installs... Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: DNN 4.4.0: Where Did All The Modules Go?

Greetings,

This procedure results in the error shown below. However, upon return to the Module Definition page, the module *does* appear to be installed.  Is this the expected behavior? Thanx.

Server Error in '/DotNetNuke' Application.

Cannot create/shadow copy 'DotNetNuke.DNNScheduler.SqlDataProvider' when that file already exists.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.IO.FileLoadException: Cannot create/shadow copy 'DotNetNuke.DNNScheduler.SqlDataProvider' when that file already exists.

etc.

I blogged about that here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/BlogsDotNetNuke/tabid/825/EntryID/1261/Default.aspx
