multiple blogs in module
I need to nest five different blog modules inside one master module with tabs leading to the different blogs . I tried usind Simple Tab module, but didnn't quite get what I wanted. First it gave a long list of errors  , when the tab is clicked.

(DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at.............)

Secondly it has no way of indicating how many blog summaries/standfirsts should show on initial screen.

Can someone advise on the best way to achieve this effect ?

Re: multiple blogs in module

You could acheive the multiple blogs by adding individual module sets for each blog, and setting it to a specific blog.  I would almost reccomend separate pages for each of them though.  You can also set the number of recent entries etc for the individual blogs as well.

What do you need to have on the "master' page?  COuld it be a splash page that links to the individual blogs?

Re: multiple blogs in module
Thanks again Mitchel. One of the tabs will be the default (master) page. Meaning if I have blog1, blog2, blog3, blog4, blog5; I will want to have blog one tab as the default.  I really don't get your explanation though. What I initially did was to have 5 blog modules (labelled 1,2...). How do I put them under one blog ? How do I set the number of recent entries ?  There are no setting for that as far as I can see

Re: multiple blogs in module

hi Mitchell,

this is an old post from you. I tried your idea of adding additional blog module on a separate. when I do that the module recreate the existing blog module that already exist. What it means...it's just the same ONE blog module for the entire DNN site.

Did i do it wrong?
