DNN and windows mobile devices

Does anyone know if / of a configuration for windows mobile devices to view and complete forms? This could be acheived either online or forms comlpeted on windoes mobile device and data sent / synchronised later when internet connection available, for example using windoes mobile device for maintenance program with roving technician completing checks?

Re: DNN and windows mobile devices

Lindsay,

I tested with Blackberries and Mobiles 6, the menu sometimes is displayed. WIth Nokia N50 and Sybiam works pretty good, but the joystick works very senseitive.

I had been checking with the javascript settins without success.

Ask Chris at onyaktech.com about this. He's keen to add WM functionality to his otherwise very fancy form creation and project management modules.

Re: DNN and windows mobile devices

Hello,

My company completed a 3rd generation project recently which integrated a Windows Smart Client running on PDAs with a DNN website(previous projects weren't DNN). Note that this supports an "occasionally connected" solution with its own database and is not the same as simply using webforms which require a persistent connection to the DNN website.

Unfortunately, I can't release the code publicly but if you end up needing a quick solution for a price, you can contact me offline.
