Ad Your Link page

New user to DNN and slowly getting to grips with it (and love it) but need some help....

I am building a simple site that lists various motorcycle tours around the world.  The only input from users would be an "add your link" section where the user adds link and details of their company to the site.

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to do this?

Thanks

Re: Ad Your Link page

Check out the Repository module (is one of the default included modules). It lets people submit items, you can approve them, and they aill be displayed in various orders. There is a small dashboard module with it that lets you display a selecting of the items on another page - eg the homepage. The Repository has various templates included and each one has different functions. The module also allows for comments and ratings and would probably fit the bill well.

Yes, Rob's right - I used this module for the DNN Directory - it's very flexible!

User Defined Table module (UDT) could suit your needs, and it's pretty easy to use.

Otherwise, a third party module, such as xMod, would be well suited for this.
