Re: User Registration on DNN with multiple portal

You mean Sub portal? They are both main portal(www.site1.com and www.site2.com)! I show you a partial select about the user and userportal table of my dnn database.

In this example I'm no able to register the user massimo in the portal 16. It's already present in the portal 14 but not in the portal 16!

from dbo.userportal

userID portalID userPortalID CeatedDate Authorized
58 16 65 09/01/2008 09:27:18 True
39 14 42 07/11/2007 11:40:06 True

from db.user

UserID UserName FirstName LastName IsSuperUser AffilateID email displayName UpdatePassword
39 massimo Massimo Fattori False NULL massimo@tiscali.it Massimo Fattori False
58 santo Santo - False NULL santo@tiscali.it Santo False

Re: User Registration on DNN with multiple portal

Yes, exactly, and this is a limitation in DNN.

Now, you might be able to manually get around it by adding a record to the UserPortals table, but that isn't recommended unless you have a REAL need to do it.  If you do, be sure to backup the database just incase!!
