Re: Help me handle URLS from another application

Chris,

I may be missing something here, but can't you accomplish this via the URLRewriting.Net project?  I implemented it on my DNN site in about 15 minutes and setup a bunch of 301 permanent redirects.  It's working perfectly for me.

If it's not a large number of pages (or discreet urls you are concerned about) you can do this very sucessfully with the request flitering that comes stock with DNN. We've had good success moving sites this way with no change in Google ranks. It would be tedious to do this for hundreds of pages though.

If you need details ping me - will at dallasnewmedia dot com.

Re: Help me handle URLS from another application

Thanks for everyone's input on this topic. I ended up using IIRF to manage all of my old URLs, things seem to be working out great so far on the new site.
