problem in uploading  

Hi all,

I have newly installed DNN 4.8, using web expression 2005, sql server 2005.

I am unable to upload any image in the portal, like uplading new Logo it throws an error "invalid file name - Filename cannot contain '  "

any ideas to resolve.

Hi chris,

i have gif image named as logo1.gif,  and  i have same problem with Uplad from "file manager", where i tired to upload file types,

same error " Invalid File Name - Filename cannot contain ' "

I can't say I've seen that problem before. Have you checked to make sure the file permissions are all kosher on the Portals table?
