Inter module communication

Hi,

I have two modules in dotnetnuke application M1, and M2. I want to communicate between these two module. Like any time when I need I can call the user control of one module from the usercontrol of other module.  I tried to do it but I fail and now I am in trouble. So if any one of you can help me with example then I will really very grateful to him.

Thank you..................

Re: Inter module communication

there are two options: querystring params and inter module communication (IMC), which is built into DotNetNuke framework and AFAIK documented in the module develpment guide, available from documentation page in resources menu above.

Hi,

I'm not sure that I understand problem. You can create any class almost any where, or store instances into some dedicated class, you can store (communicate) values to page, http request, shared elements etc. This is asp.net and communication between classes is practically endless. Do you need communication between two specific module instances (on page, request, application life cycle, from database)? You can even serialize classes and store them to database or disk etc.  What is your requirement exactly?

Kind regards,

Primoz
