Custom Profile Field Visible by Admin Only And Not User?

Is it possible to have a custom profile field for a user account that is only visible by the administrator, one that the user cannot access, see, or update when viewing their own profile?  My client wants to be able to have a text field with notes regarding the client that would be for administrative purposes only, and visible by admin only.

Thanks,

Rick

theres no user-security on profile properties. However, you could add a property and uncheck its visible property. That way the field is available per user, but not exposed to the user. The only way to see it is via the admin->user accounts and then click the user you want to see, followed by the manage profile link (or realistically write a small module that runs the sql to return the approriate field)

The visibility works great for me.  Didn't realize that it worked like that, figured if it was not marked visible then the field would not appear for any user.   Thanks for the help.
