Users online

Hi,

Can anyone from the dotnetnuke.com maintenance team tell with which settings the users online module is using. What value is used at host settings level for the attribute "Users online time (minutes)" ?

Thanks in advance

Pepijn

Re: Users online

Sorry, what are you asking about? there is a host setting and a scheduler job that needs to be enabled.

Re: Users online

Hi Sebastian,

I know how the useronline functionality works but was just wondering at how many minutes the configuration is set at www.dotnetnuke.com , seeing 4300+ online users is a lot, but if the usersonline setting is 120 minutes for example I know what to think of it.

Thanks in advance

Pepijn

Re: Users online

Thanks, Sebastion, for the help - it's working. Mine is set to 1 minute, but it's such a small membership I'm thinking this interval is too short, plus I'm uncertain of resources used w/ purgeusers each time. Any ideas? I have to wonder with Pepijn what the standard is for user size in using purgeusers.

Re: Users online

My only question realy is : what's  the setting number www.DotNetNuke.com is using.

I regulary see more then a 1000 people online, but if they use a setting of 60 (minutes) then it's a bit misleading.

Just curious

Pepijn
