Change Search Engine?

I would like to use live search vs google.  How do I change the search engine in the search skin object?  I can't seem to find a way to do it.

Thanks.

Re: Change Search Engine?

Host menu -> Languages -> Language Editor.  Browse to Local Resources -> Admin -> Skins ->App_LocalResources -> Search.ascx.   Resource Name URL Text will change to whatever search you wish.  Don't forget to change the tooltip as well.

A Live search setting would likely be something like:

http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=[TEXT]

By the way, Shaun posted this some time ago, when the Search object was updated (DNN 4.5.2?), a search of the forums would have found it.

Re: Change Search Engine?

Thank you Jeff, that was great!  It worked.  BTW - I did do a search first and did not find anything.  That is, except for 1 post of someone that asked the same quesiton with no answer....  Thanks again.
