DNN and Sybase

Hi Dnn Folk,

We are running DNN 4.8.2 succesfully on an Intranet and now want to look displaying some information from our HR System which uses Sybase running Adaptive Server v9.0.2.2451

We don't have any development resources but use the excellent Tressleworks SQLGrid Selected View to display other MS SQL Server databases.

Has anyone any idea how to proceed? I have searched for a DNN Sybase Data Connector with no luck so is custom the only option?

Many Thanks

Jim

Re: DNN and Sybase

AFAIK you would need to look for a .NET to Sybase connector, then you would have to custom implement it into your environment..

If you would like to talk about some options, drop me an e-mail at msellers@iowacomputergurus.com

Re: DNN and Sybase

Jim,

Take a look at http://www.connectionstrings.com/?carrier=sybase and see if you can get any of these connection strings to work..

Paul.
