Loosing my input

Some strange behaviour I've noticed on my ddn config. When, after a few minutes typing text for a new forum entry that uses TextEditor (FCK), I click the link to save the text the page reloads and my input is not stored. The text is completely lost. I'm still logged in, so it's not a session timeout. If I cut/paste the text and hit 'save' the text is stored. So, it has something to do with a timeout I guess. Is this an issue that can be fixed by config settings? Could not find similar postings for this problem.
Could this have anything to do with AJAX? Read somewhere about registering postback commands

Re: Loosing my input

I had a possibly similar problem, but mine didn't occur until after the edit window was open for 15-18 minutes.  Thanks to some fancy sleuthing by John Mitchell, he suggested that I set the "Page State Persistence" to "Page" and not to "Memory" as I had set it.  See below.

Since making that change, and perhaps a few others (you can find John's recommendations for DotNetNuke performance settings in his fine forums at Snapsis.com), I haven't seen that problem again.

So ... check your performance settings ...
