Have to hit update twice for changes to take effect

I have been having a problem for some time now where I have to click the links and buttons in my modules twice to get them to work, usually resulting in a page refresh and a loss of data. Is this a DNN caching issue or something? I have DNN 4.8 with Catalook Pro Q3 and Onyaktech Q3 if that matters. Anyone got any clues what this behavior is?

Re: Have to hit update twice for changes to take effect

Might be an issue with AJAX, where the first click activates the control.  That's only a guess though, and I'm not sure how you would go about fixing it.

Jeff

Re: Have to hit update twice for changes to take effect

I turned off the AJAX in DNN. I still have it on in Catalook, but it happens in non-Catalook pages too. It seems to be DNN thing since it happens to everything. When I clear the Event Viewer log it seems to get better for a very short time then it's back again. It seems sporatic and unpredictable, and is certainly annoying. I've ave experienced this in the past with DNN and never resolved it. I hope this time someone will know and help. It pretty much makes the site worthless. I've tried a few different settings in the Host settings like using memory instead of page and using file for site log storage, as well as back and forth on some other settings. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Re: Have to hit update twice for changes to take effect

I'm trying to tweak some Firefox settings that have been known to cause issues. Anyone got any other ideas? Please?
