Module Question

Hi there,

Im developing a site and would like to create an area where users can (once logged in) review destinations they have been to, similar to http://www.holidaywatchdog.com/ but i would also like to allow the users to create the menu.

so they would for example search for the resort they have been to and if its not listed add the area town and country themselves?

is this do-able and is there any modules out there you guys can think of? if not what would the cost of a bespoke module be?

Cheers

Re: Module Question

It's a fairly common task to have User-input ultimately end up making some sort of content, including a menu.

Careful consideration should be taken to make sure you don't end up with 2 spellings of the same city name (for instance).

Probably nothing "out of the box" will completely fit your needs.  There are some form-creating modules, and other dynamic-content creation modules that might assist.  I don't personally use any, but perhaps some DNN users who do might add some input.

Re: Module Question

Hi Scott

Thanks for the reply, good point with regards to things like double entries. If anyone is able to eleberate on the points of the form modules that would be really handy.

Im still fully getting my head round all of this.

Thanks in advance. Jon
