Web site latency

My site seems to load very slowly at the start of a session.

I realize there are innumerable possible factors, but I'm for the most common DNN-specific ideas on how to increase page performance.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: Web site latency

1)  Pageblaster.  Especially PageBlaster Pro for that initial startup pause.

2)  Optimize DNN caching in Host Settings.  I say Optimize because what works for you might not be the same as for others.  You might need to test settings as you change them.

Re: Web site latency

Also a keepalive service such as host-tracker.com or pingdom.com is very helpful!
