Impossible to login. 

HI everybody

I have one portal that I can't login to , it is very strange it takes me to login page I fill in user and password press enter and then it takes me back to the first page without loggin me in... strange, it is no cookie problem as I set to accept 3rd party cookies, and other portals on this install are working fine only this one.. any idea what is it?

check settings for register page (in Site Settings) and redirect page after login (in User Accounts).

I know one thing for sure - I did not change anything yet the portal was just created few months ago and I just got my hands on it now, so all settings are by default and there is only one page HOME , it doesn't have login module on it  just the link to login.

BTW the settings that you said I should check where they should point to in "picture perfect" ?

one more odd thing when I try to reach this page by  http://www.parent.com/child/Home.aspx I can login as host or admin or any other user but when I try to reach this page by it's own domain name http://www.child.com/Home.aspx I can't login.... the page shows fine and log in  looks normal just it doesn't log me in... WEIRD !
