formating Blog Module 

I use the blog module to post "news articles".  Site = www.wisconsinornamentals.com.

Because of the formatting and the need to put something in each of the boxes. . each 
"intro article" is spread out on the page and not easy to follow.

Is there some way (relatively easily) that I can change the formatting code so these will appear differently?  I know there are other modules out there, but this one allos me to show the archive, and I do want to use that feature. 

If such formatting cannot be easily done, can anyone suggest a better module for me to try that isn't too expensive?    I have copied an example for a visual.  (well I tried but I can't figure out how to get it linked and it won't paste.
