I have created an open DNN web portal (www.iflaker.com) that works similar to iGoogle, Pageflakes, etc with the difference being that it is not a start-up page site but a portal generator (for personal or business use). When a person visits iFlaker, a portal is instantly created and the portal name assigned a unique GUID as you will see from the URL. Now, when a person signs up by clicking on the sign up button, their site changes form the ugly GUID name to a more presentable for the user such as http://www.iflaker.com/gnkuna1.
What I would like to know is, if a user decides to personalise their URL complitely from http://www.iflaker.com/gnkuna1 to http://www.gnkuna1.com, is it possible to link their personalised URL to the child portal and still use the DNN billing engine within iFlaker.com. If yes how do you configure it.
I am asking this because although working on iFlaker is free for the end user, one of our five revenue generating models would be to bill users as soon as they want to personalise their URLs and host with us.
