Help with site settings

Okay, guys.  Go easy on me here because I think I did something moronic.

Under ADMIN>SITE SETTINGS, I accidently changed "Login Page" under "Page Management" to Home.  So, now every time I go to my site and click on "Login" it just refreshes the home page instead of taking me to the login page.

Can someone please tell me how to undo this since I can't log in to change it through the site settings page?  I'm assuming that I'll have to go into the files somewhere.  I've been to the site settings.aspx file and can't see where there's anything there to change.

Please help.  I'm at a loss.

Re: Help with site settings

Go into the database and open the Portals table. Look for the field "LoginTabID" and reset it to NULL

Re: Help with site settings

Hey, Mike.  I'm sure I'm just being dense here, but I assumed you were talking about accessing the database through the database manager, but that doesn't allow me the opportunity to access it, only to delete it.  So, now I'm assuming you mean access the database through one of the folders in the file manager. Problem I'm having is that I don't see anything regarding the database.

I know you're probably laughing at me right now, but this is my first website.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it ;-)

Re: Help with site settings

You were right the first time. Are you running SQL Express? Did you create a database beforehand or did you use the (and my memory is failing on the exact workding) "create from file?" option. I don't think it makes a difference in the end but I'm not sure.

Anyways, if you're using SQL Express then download the SQL Express Manager. That'll let you get into the database, open tables, etc. so that you can make the change you need. If you're running full-bore SQL 2005 then you should already have SQL Manager as part of your install but SQL Express Manager will connect to that as well.
