Automated Page Creation?

What would the best method to automate the creation of over 1000 pages?  Ideally I would like to write some code to look at a data source which would contain the details of those pages( name, description, permissions, etc.) and create the pages via SQL or if possibly through some sort of internal DNN method.  Any help is appreciated.

The purpose of this automation is a part of a migration project.

Thanks.

Derek

Re: Automated Page Creation?

How if you create your pages in Excel, then parsing it using OleDb object for generating 1000 pages ?

It just my two cents. ;)

Re: Automated Page Creation?

Is there a API call that I can use to automate this process?

Thanks.

Re: Automated Page Creation?

In case anyone was interested, here's how its done.

DotNetNuke.Data.

DataProvider.Instance().AddTab(PortalId, TabName, IsVisible, DisableLink,

ParentId, IconFile, Title, Description, Keywords, Url, SkinSrc, ContainerSrc, TabPath,

StartDate, EndDate, RefreshInterval, PageHeadText, IsSecure);

Thanks.
