Upgrade load balanced site
Is there a way to avoid down time when updgrading a site that is running on 2 load balanced IIS 6.0 Windows Server 2003?  The web.config at both servers point to the same database.

The plan is to take server2 off load balance so clients are hitting server1 only. If server2 is then upgraded to the latest DNN version, the database is also updated. Question 1: Once server2 is upgraded, will clients still be able to use the site on server1 even when the database has been upgraded?

If answer is no, I will include down time in the upgrade plan.

If answer is yes, the next step would be to put server2 back on load balance and server1 off,  upgrade server1, then put server1 back on load balance.  Are there any potential issues with this upgrade plan?

Thanks in advance for your help.
