Biographies not being saved.

Text input into a user's Biography is not being saved.

I've seen elsewhere on the forum that this can be resolved by unchecking the "Supports Partial Rendering" box in the user account control. I've done that, but biographies are still not saved.

Is there another way to fix this bug? I have a client meeting in 2 days and need to show them how Biographies work.

We're using DNN 4.8.2.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Biographies not being saved.

I solved my issue by updating 'supportparitalrendering'  from 1 to 0 in the 'Edit User Accounts' field w/in ModuleControls. User Account was already 0, I assume because I unchecked it in the control.

Re: Biographies not being saved.

I tried going in to the module definition and changing the control to uncheck the supports partial rendering, but it still will not save data in the bio field. I restarted the app and still not bio save.

Any other ideas?

Cliff

Re: Biographies not being saved.

I am back on this again. I cannot figure out if I am applying this suggested fix appropriately or not.

I am going into Modules and into the User Account Control as seen below and unchecking Supports Partial Rendering.

Control Title Source
Edit   User Account Admin/Users/ManageUsers.ascx

Is there anything else I am supposed to do?
