Custom settings in the "Register" form.

Hi everyone !

Is it possible to modify the "Register" form so that the user has to input some additional custom information, such a date of birth or anything else ?

How do I do that ?

Do I have to modify the "Register.ascx" file or there is some other way?

Many thanks!
With best regards,

Nedim.

Re: Custom settings in the "Register" form.
currently, you either need to modify core or use custom modules. one free module is pnc::register from http://desktopmodules.portalfabrik.net

Re: Custom settings in the "Register" form.

Some other 3rd party modules include the following:

1.  UCanUse User Attributes (www.ucanuse.com)

2.  Data Springs Dynamic Registration 2.0 (www.datasprings.com)

I use UCanUse User Attributes and love it.  The Data Springs product I have not used but appears to be very popular on snowcovered.
