Hi guys,

I have done quite a few web sites with DNN and I have never had this issue before. I am using Mac OS 10.5.4 and mainly FireFox on it. I have few other machines and my Dev machine is running Vista and IE7. So when I am releasing a web site I test it in 7 browsers (IE, Opera, FireFox, Safari) on Windows and then with Opera, FireFox and Safari on the Mac.

Now for some reason FireFox on the mac after some use on my site stops loading it and stays forever on the loading state. So as an example I go to the site, do few things then open another tab and do something else on some other web site. When I come back to my site (in less then 3 min for exmaple) the FireFox 3.0 stays in loading forever and only restart of the browser works.

Have anyone here has something like this before with DNN? I am using DNN 4.8.2

The only time I've had issues has been with custom skins.  Might try the DNN_Blue skin and see if it still has trouble.  Have you tried with Firefox on a PC?

I've always noticed this in FF back in version 2 as well. It mostly happens when loading anything with the FCK editor present. I stopped looking for the cause tho as it doesn't seem to affect anything. Perhaps it's a side effect of the way FF fires off many more concurrent requests than IE does in order to appear faster to the user. FCK loads tons of little bits and it could be getting stuck waiting for one. I'm just speculating however.
