I cannot see any Site Logs

I found the Site Logs today and thought WOW, that's cool stuff!  Let's try it out, but when I did, I clicked the Display link, the page flashed but nothing came up and I know there's data there for the start/end dates entered.  Why wouldn't there be anything coming up?

Thanks.

Re: I cannot see any Site Logs

sign in as host, go to the Admin, Site settings page, scroll down and look for Host settings and see if there's a value in there for site log history. This is distinct from the same option under the Host menu.

Re: I cannot see any Site Logs

The value is 0 (is that the default?).  What do people normally put in there?  30?  365?

Thank you.

Re: I cannot see any Site Logs

The value is in days - how many days of data would you want to have stored in your database.

Because I run a multi-portal system, and I want to track recent data, I allow 7 days per portal. This works out at about half the data in my database. For extended stats I use the more useful Google Analytics. If you are running just one portal, and dont' want to use Analytics, you can insert 30, 60, 90 days... or more.
